Awesome vibes, lots of space to spread out and some nice and efficient workers that cleaned well and kicked people out quick.

I've come from Richmond to see bands in this DC club many dozens of times since opening like five decades ago. Cool place, not too small, not too large, balcony viewing, the sound has never disappointed, steady rotation of band genres from small town indie to international cred. I've never felt unsafe in the club or neighborhood and can usually find a parking spot within blocks, or pay for one if necessary. If a band you like is on the 9:30 Club calendar, catch 'em!
